Jamilu Collins Sets Record Against Bayern Munich

Jamiu Collins becomes the first Nigerian left back to score in the German Bundesliga since 2004.

Nigeria's defender, Jamiu collins becomes the first left back to score in the  Bundesliga since ex-Flying Eagles player, Gabriel Melkam in 2004.Bsnsports.com.ng reports

Gabriel Melkam in the year 2004, netted his only Bundesliga goal in a 3-0 win of his team, over Hamburg on March 6, 2004.

Jamilu Collins was on target for his Bundesliga club side Sc Paderborn, in thier 3-2 defeat by champions Bayern Munich on Saturday afternoon.  

The 25 year old scored a consolation goal from 25 yards out in the 84th minute when bayern munich was ahead with a 2 goal cushion, with the scores 3-1 at that time.

Jamiu Collins scored his first goal for Sc paderborn in his 66th appearance for the club, in the year 2017.
