By Niyi Busari
Super Eagles interim coach, Austine Eguavoen has said that the left back, Jamilu Collins should arrive in Cameroon tonight, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
Jamilu Collins and Odion Ighalo are only two players that are yet to join their team mates in Cameroon as Super Eagles engaged the Pharaohs of Egypt in group D opener on Tuesday. Other 26 invited players have been in camp preparing to take on the seven-time African champions, Egypt.
Speaking on his arrival, Eguavoen assured Nigerians that he will be in Cameroon tonight adding that issues surrounding his delay have been sorted.
"Hopefully Jamilu Collins should be arriving tonight. We had some issues on his arrival and we have sorted it out.
"We are in touch. It's not a problem. Mind you, I am the technical director of Nigeria Football, by extension and right I am his boss. So collaboration is very good, because whatever we do here is to make it a soft landing and platform to operate. We want to be at the next World Cup. There is need to make everything comfortable and smooth for him. When Peseiro resumes, he can now add his own ideas."
Nigeria will take on Egypt in Garoua on Tuesday in group D opener.
