John Obuh Resigns As Akwa United Coach - Latest Sports in Nigeria

Former head coach of Akwa United, John Obuh has tendered his resignation letter to the management of the Nigeria Professional Football League side, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The former Flying Eagles coach who joined the team few months ago resigned from his position as the coach after guiding the team to a disappointing eight matches in the 2019/20 NPFL season.
According to the official twitter handle of the club, John Obuh on Monday morning submitted his resignation letter to the club and the secretary of the club, Comrade Omon Bassey expressed gratitude for his service during his short stint with the club.
While he was in charge as the head coach, Akwa United could only manage to win 1 match, drew 4 and lost 3, scored 7 goals and conceded 9 in the eight NPFL matches.
He left Akwa United in 16th position on the log with 7 points from 8 games, 10 points adrift league leaders Plateau United.
