John Ogu Downplays Unfavourable Weather in South Africa, Insists Eagles will Win

Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder, John Ogu insists that the unfavourable weather condition in Johannesburg won’t deter the team from achieving its targets reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Super Eagles have a feel of the FNB stadium, venue of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa on Friday under the scorching heat in Johannesburg to acclamatize to the weather condition and Ogu believes the team will cope.

The session will be the Super Eagles first since they arrived Johannesburg from Asaba, Delta State Nigeria by 3:30am.
“We are here to do our nation and ourselves proud,” Ogu told CSN.

Ogu, is expected to feature alongside Oghenekaro Etebo in Super Eagles’ midfield for the game on Saturday in the absence of Wilfred Ndidi.
The game will be Ogu’s second appearance in the AFCON qualifiers for the Super Eagles.
The Super Eagles have recorded nine points from four games one ahead South Africa in second place. Libya are third with four points while Seychelles on one point occupy bottom place.
