John Utaka Foundation set to dazzle at SATUC World Cup By Admin John Utaka Foundation Football Team is set to participate in the 2018 five aside SATUC World Cup slated to hold between August 12 and 17, 2018 in Bulgaria. According to the Team Coordinator of the Foundation Usman Chata, "This second edition would be the first ever participation by any Nigerian team since the first edition held in Egypt in 2015. "The second edition of SATUC U-15 World Cup slated for Bulgaria is also fully sponsored by the Bulgarian Football Union and its attracting 16 nations and 126 players. Also 16 counties including Nigeria, Morocco, Egypt, Cameroon, Cote D' Ivoire, Liberia, England, host Bulgaria and others will participate in the 2018 edition of the tournament", Chata disclosed. Chata also disclosed that eight (8) players and three officials would represent Nigeria at this tournament. The Team Coordinator also disclosed that, "the SATUC World Cup is organised for the less privileged children of participating countries aimed at bettering their lives through football. Its mainly organized for the less privileged children that don't have the opportunity of representing their countries in the FIFA organized underaged world cups". The Chief Coach of the team Sheriff Ajibola also explained that "the final eight (8) players that formed the team were picked after rigorous screening through friendly matches played in Kaduna, Niger, Kogi and Abuja. I am very confident that this team will make Nigeria proud in Bulgaria. We are targeting the world cup", Ajibola assured. The Media Consultant of the Foundation, Segun Ogunjimi also disclosed that all the necessary logistics needed to ensure a successful participation has been put in place.
