Akpoborie believes Ajayi is fast and he is an all-round striker that scores goals from inside and outside the box. He also thinks Ajayi deserves the Nigerian shirt compared to most of the strikers he has seen so far for Nigeria. I think that looking at what he has done with the Al-Ahly, he deserves to be given the opportunity." Ajayi who has scored 28 goals for Al Ahly in more than 90 appearances across all competitions is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Super Eagles having previously featured in a friendly match.
