Joshua, Ruiz Rematch To Take Place - Hearn

Anthony Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn has dismissed speculations of Anthony Joshua turning down a rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr and says alternatives are "not even up for negotiation."

Hearn who was speaking with 5 Live boxing said:

"It's not even up for negotiation if he's taking that fight or not,"

"That fight is happening. Someone just asked me 'do you think he should be taking this fight?' I said 'probably not'. In an ideal world probably you'd like a 10 rounder.

"If you're a favourite for a fight for the heavyweight titles, you're taking that fight. It is risky, dangerous, dramatic but it's the biggest fight in world boxing."

Joshua, lost three of the four major world heavyweight titles to Ruiz in a huge shock in New York in June.

Hearn added that the rematch will likely take place in the City of Cardiff Wales on the 29th of November later this year.
