Jupiler League: Dennis Apologised, Fined, To Return Against Mouscron
By Sampson Adedeji
Nigeria's Super Eagles and Club Brugge winger Emmanuel Dennis has apologised to the players and entire management of the club following his unruly behaviour towards the club last champions league match against Borrussia Dortmund, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
He missed the game in Germany and was spotted training alone on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Nigeria international rejoined the team training on Thursday ahead of the club league match against Royal Excel Mouscron on Saturday.
The club manager Philippe Clement confirmed Dennis apology and fine during a press conference on Friday organised ahead of the match.
" The Nigerian has apologize to the staff, the board and the players group, and is now making a fresh start.
That is the end of it for me," said Clement during his weekly press talk. “On Saturday he will be in the selection for the match against Mouscron.
"To be honest, Dennis (and Club) did not have much choice: it has been a bit more difficult for offensive. And when the Nigerian has his day, he is an enormous added value for Club," he concluded.
