Jupiler League: Okereke Secures Maximum Point For Club Brugge

Nigeria international David Okereke was the hero on Saturday night in the involving his club Club Brugge and St. Truiden, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Brugge who secured a vital home win against Zenith St. Petersburg of Russia in the champions league during midweek started the day slowly and was able to play out a goalless draw in the first half.
Nigeria's Super Eagles winger, Emmanuel Dennis, started the game but was unable to breakdown the defensive set up of the visitors.
He was replaced by his compatriots Okereke in the 54th minute and former Dream Team striker was able to make his presence count as he netted the winning goal 2 minute later.
The narrow win took Brugge to the top of the league table with 30 points from 15 matches.
Despite not playing regularly, Okereke always make his impact felt anytime he was introduced into the game.
