Jupiler League: Okereke To Spend One Additional Week On Quarantine

Due to his contraction of Corona virus, Belgium Jupiler League side Club Brugge has confirmed that Nigeria international striker David Okereke will spend one additional week on quarantined, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Nigeria Junior International was tested positive for corona virus last week and was placed on a week quarantined.

But the club on Wednesday morning confirmed via its social media handle that Okereke will have to spend another one week to fully recover from the pandemic.

"David Okereke will remains in quarantine for extra week.

'The viral load, the chance of passing on the infection is turned out to be too high, according to the pro league protocol " the club said.

It means Okereke will not be available for this weekend Jupiler League match.
