Jupiler League: Onuachu Gets Ebony Shoe Award Nomination

Following his amazing performance in the just concluded Belgium Jupiler League, Super Eagles and KRC Genk of Belgium striker Paul Onuachu has been nominated for Ebony Shoe award, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The lanky striker joined the Jupiler League side in 2019 after a successful season in the Danish league side with FC Midjtyland .
The Ebony Shoe is the prize for the best football player of African origin on the Belgian pitches and Last season, it was Antwerp attacker Dieumerci Mbokani who won the award.
Onuachu will contend with 4 other nominees which includes:Theo Bongonda , Lukas Nmecha , Albert Sambi-Lokonga and Clinton Mata .
The Nigeria international is the favorite to succeed Mbokani after scoring 33 goals in the league and 35 in all competitions. He also led Genk to a cup title and a second place finish in in the league behind Club Brugge.
