Jupiler League: Onuachu Wins Ebony Shoe Award By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles and Genk of Belgium striker Paul Onuachu has won the Belgium Jupiler league Ebony Shoe for the 2020/2021 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Ebony Shoe award is a football award in Belgium given annually to the best African or African origin player in the Belgian Pro League. The lanky Nigeria international succeeded Antwerp and Congo Democratic Republic forward Dieurmaci Mbokani who clinched the award last year. The former FC Midjtyland forward scored 34 goals in 41 appearances for the Limburger. The striker is the fifth Nigerian to win the award after Daniel Amiokachi (1992,1994), Victor Ikpeba (1993), Godwin Okapara (1995) and Celestine Babayaro (1996).
