Kaduna Beach Soccer End Of The Year Championship Gets Date By Niyi Busari Kaduna State Beach Soccer End Of The Year Championship will commence on 16 and ends 19 December, 2021, the tournament organiser has announced. The 4-day tournament will witness two sessions daily; matches will be played in the morning and evening sessions. The two-hour morning session commences at 8am to 10am while the evening session is 4-6pm. The tournament will be held at the first of its kind ever beach stadium constructed by the Kaduna State Government at the Murtala Square. This makes the state to be opened for all beach games and remains a top choice for hosting highly rated championship. Chairman of Kaduna State Beach Soccer Association, Engineer Musa Nimrod stated that the competition is used to round off the year that has witnessed hosting of many competitions. He however thanked Kaduna State Governor, Malam El-Rufai for providing the facility. “We thank Kaduna State Government for providing this facility for development of beach Soccer not only in Kaduna but Nigeria as a whole. “With this, Kaduna is opened for beach competitions, being the only state with a beach stadium in Nigeria. Not for only beach soccer, but beach volleyball as well as beach handball,” an excited Nimrod said. He added that the competition is hosted for players to maintain top form ahead of the competitions in 2023. The Chairman urged private sector to come and partner and sponsor developmental programmes the Association has mapped up for next year. "We have many developmental programmes for next year and we will need the support of private sector to partner and sponsor some of the programs to boost Nigeria chances in international competitions.
