Kalu back in Bordeaux squad

After being left out of the squad, Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu has returned back to the Girondin Bordeaux team.

Kalu incurred the team coach Paulo Sousa’s wrath after failing to join the rest of his teammates in training in time for last weekend’s French League Cup clash against Le Mans.

Kalu was demoted to train with the reserved team as a punishment for his late arrival after the Yuletide break.

The team gaffer appeared to have pardon the Nigeria star as he included him in the 19 man squad that will face Olympics Lyon in a league game this weekend.

The speedy player has scored just once in 16 appearances for the club this season.
