Kalu sent off as Marseille beat Bordeaux

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Kalu got red-carded as his team, Bordeaux lost to Olympic Marseille in League 1 encounter this evening.

Kalu was given a straight red card in the 25th minute of Tuesday's match against Marseille.

Kalu committed a reckless tackle from behind on Lucas Ocampos nearly breaking the latter's ankle in the process and the referee had no hesitation on his decision. The youngster could get an extended suspension for the severity of the foul. Yann Karamoh and Andreas Cornelius will likely see an increase in playing time during the suspension.

Boubacar Kamara scored the lone goal of the match at 42 minute to hand Marseille the win.
