Kalu's Bordeaux get new manager By Sampson Adedeji In order to rescue their dwindling fortune in the ongoing French Ligue 1, the management of Girondin Bordeaux has appointed Portuguese tactician Paulo Sousa. Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu joined the French side last summer and has flourished under former coach of the team Ricardo. Sousa signed three and half year deal with the club. The Portuguese gaffer will be the third coach of the team in recent time after Uruguayan coach Gustavo Poyet left the team early in the season. Kalu is one of the players invited by Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr for the upcoming dead rubber 2019 AFCON qualifier against Seychelles and an international friendly against Egypt.
