Samuel Kalu's Mother Release By Kidnappers Excites Rohr, To Miss Bordeaux Vs Montpellier

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has said that he is happy over the release of Samuel Kalu's mother from kidnappers den, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Rohr while answering questions from journalists said: "It is good news that gladdened my heart that his (Kalu) mother has been released by kidnappers"
Mrs Ozuruonye Juliet Kalu was kidnapped on 27th of February and the kidnappers requested for a ransom of N3m.
Samuel Kalu's mother was released by kidnappers on Tuesday morning after seven days in kidnappers' den.
Meanwhile, Kalu's French Ligue 1 side, Bordeaux have exempted him from their league match against Montpellier at the Matmut Atlantique by 7:00 pm Tuesday night.
This according to the club is to allow him (Kalu) to mentally balance ahead of their subsequent matches.
It was reported that Samuel Kalu's mother was kidnapped on Saturday and the kidnappers were demanding for N3 million ransom.
As at the time of filing this report, it is not clear whether the sum amount was paid before her release.
However, the Abia state police spokesman Godfrey Ogbona confirmed his release on Tuesday.
" She was released around midnight on Monday and she has been reunited with her people,” he said.
