Kano Pillars Chairman Vows To Probe Fans Pitch Encroachment In Lagos, Kaduna

Newly appointed Chairman of Kano Pillars Football Club Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu has promised to set up a committee whose responsibility is look into the disgraceful acts of the team's fans in Lagos during the 2019 Super Six playoff at the Agege Stadium and in the final of the 2019 Aiteo Cup in Kaduna, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Suraju while addressing the players in their camp in Kaduna warned that he will not tolerate indiscipline by the fans and players of Kano Pillars but promised to give the players 100 percent support.

"As we are leaving here (Kaduna), we are going to inaugurate a committee that will find out what has happened to us in the past, in Asaba, Lagos and Kaduna. Surajo told BSN Sports.

"We want to know the main causes and how we are going to stop the disgraceful acts by our fans, because as you're (players) making us proud. That act may destroy the team's achievement because if it leads to banning Kano Pillars from all competitions in Nigeria, then all our records will be destroyed.

"So, i am going to assure you that i will fight for your right but i wont tolerate indiscipline in the team." He concluded

Kano Pillars stayed back in Kaduna after emerging 2019 Aiteo Cup champions to continue preparation for the first leg in the 2019/20 CAF Champions tie against Asante Kotoko slated for the Sanni Abacha stadium, Kano.
