Kano Pillars Crash out of CAF Confederation Cup By Sampson Adedeji The hope of the Nigeria representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Kano Pillars have finally been dashed after they failed to turn the table against ASC Jaaraf of Senegal, BSNSports.com.ng reports The Nigeria side lost the first leg last weekend 1-3 in Dakar Senegal and require at least goal gap to progress to the next round. The match played in Kaduna kick off with host dominating the game and the first opportunity in the game fell to Auwalu Alli but Jaaraf goalkeeper came to the rescue. The away side was able to nullified all the attacking threat of Pillars led by Nwagua. The second half resumed with host still knocking the door but the defenders of Jaaraf was in hand to demistified them. The game ended in a goalless draw and Jaaraf was able to progress 3-1 on aggregate.
