Kano Pillars return to Sanni Abacha stadium By Admin Nigeria Professional Football League side, Kano Pillars have returned back to their traditional home ground Sanni Abacha Stadium, after the completion of the stadium, BSNSports reports. Kano state government had in January ordered the closure of Sanni Abacha stadium in order to renovate it for the home team, Kano Pillars. With the renovations completed, Sai Masu Gida had a friendly match with Nationwide league side Gama Emirates FC which they won by 4-1 in the newly refurbished Stadium pitch on Saturday evening following their return. Kano Pillars coach Ibrahim Musa disclosed that the friendly match is a wake up for his players performance in other to correct loopholes before squealing up against Kada City in rescheduled match next Wednesday. And club’s media manager Malikawa confirmed to BSNSports that: “We’re back, and it is an exciting moment for everyone at the club to be finally home,”
