Kano Pillars Shocked At Ex-Player's Death, Describe It As A Great Loss

Kano Pillars Football Club have described the death of its former player Aminu Tahir as a great loss to the football family in Kano state and Nigeria in general, BSNSports.com.ng can report.


This was contain in a statement signed by the club image maker Rilwanu Idris malikawa in a condolence message sent to the family of late Aminu Tahir.

The statement reads in parts;


"On behalf of club chairman Alhaji Surajo Yahaya, players, technical crew and entire fans of the club we are praying to Almighty Allah to put late Aminu Tahir in jannatil Firdausi and his family to bear the loss."


According to Malikawa the camp of the club in Kaduna was shocked and quiet for some moments when the information of the death reached them.


Malikawa described the deceased as a committed, honest, descipline and dedicated player during his football Carrier.


Aminu Tahir who played for Sai Masu Gida from 1999 - 2008 died on Monday 28that October, 2019 after a brief illness.


Players and officials of Kano Pillars Football Club who currently are in Kaduna for one-week close camping ahead of 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League season which is expected to kick off next Sunday November 3rd.
