Kanu Unmoved By Abraham and Tomori's Call up By England.

Former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu was not surprised by Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori's international call-up by England, Bsnsports.com.ng reports.
England's Coach, Gareth Southgate included the two chelsea stars amongst squad to face the Czech Republic and Bulgaria in October’s Euro 2020 qualification games, to finally get a grasp of where the duo will commit their future, when it comes to international football.
Tammy Abraham represented the Three lions in their European friendlies against Germany and Brazil in November 2017, but still eligible to play for Nigeria since he hasn't represented England in any competitive fixture. Fikayo Tomori has also featured for England's U 21 and also eligible to play for Canada.
This however, didn't move the former Arsenal star, as he believed that there are many outstanding foreign based players out there willing to represent Nigeria.
“Our problem is that whenever someone starts doing well, we start chasing them which is not bad because other countries do that,” Kanu told Goal.
“I feel we don’t need to force people to play for the country, because Nigeria is bigger than any player.
“We have quality players everywhere so we can’t continue to beg one player to play for us. Nigeria cannot beg, players have to beg Nigeria.
“The best way to always go about this is talking to them to play for their fatherland.

“If they do, it’s good for us and if they don’t we move on. That’s football and I think we have enough and we can win matches without them."
Nigeria would play Brazil in a friendly game on October 13, in Singapore.
