Katsina United disown Tasiu, Samuel Tornadoes transfer report By Amaechi Agbo The management of NPFL side, Katsina United have described report that their two players Tasiu Lawal and Tsawanya Samuel have joined Niger Tornadoes as baseless and false, Bestchoicesports can report. Yesterday, reports and pictures of the two players signing their contract papers with the Minna-based club inundated the news airwaves. In one of the reports and pictures posted by @⁨felele247⁩ on social media yesterday, it welcomed Tasiu Lawal back to the club and said the player had signed with the club. Part of the report reads "WELCOMEBACKTASIU We are happy to announce the return of our son Tasiu Lawal to the ikon Allah boys camp. Tasiu Lawal put pen this Thursday morning ahead Nigeria Professional Football League mid-season transfer deadline." But in a swift reaction this morning, Katsina United via it's official Twitter handle rubbished the said report and called on all to disregard the "rumour" adding that the club have not established any transfer contact with any club regarding Tasiu Lawal and Tsawanya Samuel. "Kindly disregard the transfer news linking our players Tasiu Lawal and Tsawanya Samuel to @NigerTornadoes. The news is baseless and false as @fckatsinaunited have not established any transfer transaction with any club regarding Tasiu Lawal and Tsawanya Samuel," the club said.
