Senior man as popularly called on by fellow country and club teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho continued his scoring form tonight as Leicester City handed West Brom a 3-0 defeat at the King's Power Stadium to further give gaps between themselves and other top four contenders BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Iheanacho scored in the 36th minute after Jamie Vardy (23'), John Evans (26') had earlier given Leicester a 2-0 lead.
No doubt Iheanacho is enjoying his best season in top-flight football with 16 goals already to his credit in all competitions and with seven matches left for Leicester in all competitions, the Nigerian international might score over 20 goals.
Iheanacho less than a week ago sent Leicester into the final of the FA Cup scoring the sole goal as Leicester City beat Southampton 1-0 in the Semi-final to set up a final date at Wembley against Chelsea.
With four points above Chelsea and West Ham who currently occupies the fourth and fifth place on the log, Leicester needs to keep up solid performance till the end if they're to qualify for the Champions League and also avoid the dying minutes sleep up they experienced last season.
