The former Plateau United of Jos defender was in scintillating action all through the 90 minutes as he put his feet right denying the opposing team attackers the opportunity to level the scoreline. The win saw Rio Ave climbed to the top of the league table. Rio Ave will will once call on the service of the Nigerian international once again on 22nd September when they face another rival in the league, Sporting Braga.
