Kotoko Turns Down King Faisal's Ayiku Tetteh GHC70,000 Outright Buy

Cypher Kwaku

Asante Kotoko have turned down a request by city rivals King Faisal for the services of defender Stephen Ayiku Tetteh, demanding for outright buy or deal off.

Ayiku Tetteh is one of the players the Porcupine Warriors want to ship out due to their lack of playing time at the club, but have decided to sell him on permanent basis.

King Faisal officially wrote to Asante Kotoko asking to have Ayiku Tetteh on loan, but Kotoko have told the basis to pay a whooping GHC70,000 (seven hundred thousand old cedis) for the player on permanent basis or back off.

Despite a reported partnership deal to have been agreed between owner Alhaji Grunsa and another investor, King Faisal look cash trapped in the transfer market and may not be able to afford the price quoted by Kotoko, if the Kum Apem side holds on firm to their decision.
