Kwara FA Chairman Idris Musa confirms receiving N6m from state Government
Kwara FA Chairman Idris Musa has confirmed that his association has received the sum of six million naira from the state Government so as to help in the running of their Secretariat.
Idris Musa who is popularly known as 'Turaya' stated this exclusively to Kwara Sports Arena claiming he got the money from Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak.
In August, Idris Musa was a guest in the question and answer segment on Sports Arena where he was asked to explain how his association will be getting income.
And while responding, the former ABS FC coordinator made it clear that he would solicit support from the state Government.
He has now stated emphatically that six million naira has been credited to his association account thanks to Governor Abdulrahman.
"On the last interview when I was asked why the FA secretariat is not functioning, I couldn't answer because I was working on something.
"Today, I'm glad that His Excellency Mallam Abdulrahman Addulrazak has assisted my board with six million naira to complete the secretariat and I'm so grateful to him for this," he told Kwara Sports Arena Group on WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, the digging of a bore hole can be seen going on at the Kwara FA secretariat in which the process is expected to be completed soon.
Idris Musa faced tough competition from the trio of Owolabi Wopa, Mr Jibril and Toyin Olokoba to become Kwara FA Chairman.
Few months after becoming Kwara FA Chairman, Idris organised Governor Abdulrahman Under 15 competition and also hosted Ogunjobi Gold Cup pre season championship which was won by Niger Tornadoes.
