Kwara United Players, Officials To Embark On Peaceful Protest Over Unpaid Salaries By Our Reporter Kwara United players and officials have decided to embark on a peaceful protest on Monday morning over three months unpaid salaries before honoring their NPFL match day 21 fixture against Remo Stars in the evening, BSNSports.com.ng understands. The players and staff are still being owed three month and there is no sign of getting the outstanding before the end of the season next week. An official informed journalist that a spokesman from the government house has revealed to them that the state governor had already released the sum of 250 million naira but they don't know why the money has not yet got to the club. "Yes, we will embark on a peaceful protest tomorrow morning before honoring the evening match against visiting Remo Stars. He declared "We have been working for the past three months without been paid. "We however, gathered that the State Government had already released the sum of 250 million Naira and ordered that our salaries be paid but up till now, we have not received any payment since three months. "A source close to the governor informed us that our money has been released but they don't know why the money is yet to be handed to the club. "We will march to the Ministry of finance tomorrow morning on a peaceful protest to confirm why our money has not been released. The official concluded
