La Liga: Etebo Sees Yellow, Azeez Benched As Granada Outscore Getafe

The Spanish La Liga resumption continued on Friday with the match involving Granada and champions league chasing Getafe in one of the two matches scheduled for the day without fans of both sides in the stand to cheer them on.
Two of Nigeria's Super Eagles players were involved in the keenly contested encounter with Granada being the home team.
Getafe manager, Pepe Bordelas gave the Nigeria midfielder, Etebo Oghenekaro the nod to start the tension soaked match and was in action for the whole duration. On the other, Granada manager, Diego Martinez left Nigeria international, Azeez Ramon on the bench and was an unused substitute in the game that ended 2-1.
Former Warri Wolves forward, Etebo was cautioned in the 61st minute by the Spanish referee, David Medie during a duel to gain possession of the ball from the opponent.
Timor Corpovi opened the scoring for the visitors in the 20th minute of the encounter but an own goal from Getafe defender, Djene leveled the scoreline in the 70th minute.
With 11 minutes to the end of the matchday 28 tie at the Estadio Nueva Los Carmenes, Carlos Fernandez netted the winning goal to give the hosts a deserved win.
The victory moved Granada to 8th position on the table while Getafe were unmoved in the 5th position in 28 games. Barcelona are topping the table with 58 points in 27 matches, two points better than their arch rivals, Real Madrid.
