La Liga: Omeruo scores in Leganes win

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo was the hero on Sunday as Leganes rallied back to victory against Real Sociedad.

Leganes suffered heavy defeat to Barcelona on Wednesday in the Copa Del Rey which further compounded the team woes on the domestic scene.

It was the away side that broke the deadlock in the 20th minute through Alexander Isak and ended the half in their favour.

Leganes demonstrated more determinations in the second stanza and it paid off early as Omeruo netted the leveler in the 49th minute.

Oscar Rodriguez ensured that Leganes secured maximum points with a fine finish in the 90th minute and ended the tie 2-1.
