  Lagos and Ogun agog for Ramadan Cup By Admin The football community of Lagos and Ogun state are eagerly awaiting the kickoff of the 2021 Ramadan cup which kicks off simultaneously in Igando and Ejigbo on Saturday 17th April, 2021. 28 teams across four designated centres in proposed palace playing ground Igando, Ejigbo mini stadium, igbo owu playing ground Mushin and kogi community field ejigun Ogun state will be battling for the premium prize of 100,000 naira that has been set aside for the competition.   The competition prize money would have been 70,000 but the sponsor has jacked it up to the 100 thousand naira threshold. The chairman l o c, prince Gbadamosi Adebola sulaimon implore all participating teams to play the game according to the rules and also follow all the covid-19 protocol. The individual awards like, highest goal scorer, MVP, Best goal keeper, best Coach, most behaved captain will be appreciated. On Saturday the kickoff will take place in the host community in Igando as AS Sheriff takes on ST Rita by 4:00pm. Sunday at igando. EFCC vs OGUNLEYE fc 4pm. On Sunday, Adex FA and Bright Stars FA slugs it out in Mushin.
