Latest Ranking Excites Aruna Quadri As He Shifts Focus To WTTF Finals Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's table tennis sensation Aruna Quadri is excited following his improved position in the latest ITTF ranking, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The latest ranking released on Tuesday witnessed Quadri move up to 13th position in the world against 17th he was in the past. His performance in the just-concluded ITTF World Championship in Houston, Texas was responsible for the latest development. While reacting to the ranking, Germany's star was happy about it and promise to do more in future. "I'm so excited to improve my world ranking and this means I must work hard to remain on top in the world. This is another task I must face in my career and I will not relent to do my best as I look forward to the WTTF cup finals taking place this weekend in Singapore, " he said. Quadri created the African best record in the competition as he played up to the quarterfinals.
