Lawal Garba warns osihmen over making hasty decision

Former Super Eagles player, Garba Lawal advises Victor Osihmen to put himself in check in a bid not to make any hasty decision now of joining top clubs in Europe. Bsnsports.com.ng reports

It is no longer news that the big guns of Europe are running an enquiry over the young Nigerian strike, and osihmen is happy over this latest development which concerns his career.

Lawal Garba said it is a good thing looking at how osihmen is making himself a force to reckon with in Europe, but he needs to be careful of making hasty decisions.

Lawal Garba said that osihmen should work towards getting regular football time.

He also said the osihmen should be ready to face the consequences of any wrong decision he will take.

"As a young player, when a big club comes for you, the first question you should ask is, am I going to get enough playing time?. Will I be able to cope with higher challenges?. If you are convinced that you can cope, then a move can be made.

"Personally, I will advise him to consider playing another season in France with Lille where he is enjoying regular football. But it all depends on him. If he feels it is the right time for him to go, fine and good but he should be ready to take anything that would come out of it.

"He will be taking a big risk but sometimes, you must gamble to succeed. Sometimes, it pays off, sometimes, it doesn't. Anything that happens, you should be ready to take it," he said.
