Leicester City Congratulate Ndidi, Ahmed Musa and Iheanacho on Making 23-man Super Eagles World Cup List

By Niyi Busari 2015/16 English Premier League champions, Leicester FC have congratulated the trio of Wilfred Ndidi, Ahmed Musa and Kelechi Iheanacho for making the final 23-man list of players that Super Eagles will parade at the world cup in Russia. Super Eagles and Leicester City defensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi who is yet to feature in the last three Super Eagles games due to injury was outstanding for the English team last season. Ahmed Musa is on loan to his former club in Russia from Leicester City while Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho saw less playing time at the club last season. Leicester City posted the congratulatory message on their official twitter handle and wished the trio all the best at the mundial. The twitter reads: "Congratulations to Wilfred Nidid, Ahmed Musa and Kelechi Iheanacho on making the final list for their country to the world cup, We wish you all the best." Super Eagles lost 2-1 to England in an international friendly match at the Wembley stadium on Saturday. Next Wednesday the Super Eagles of Nigeria will slug it out with Czech Republic in another international friendly game in preparation ahead of the world cup finals in Russia. The Nigerian senior national team will face Croatia, Iceland and Argentina in Group D in Russia.
