Leicester City Star Arrives Nigeria Ahead 2022 African Nations Cup Qualifier

As the training camp of Nigeria's Super Falcons commence on Monday, Leicester City star Ashleigh Plumptre has departed her club for Nigeria, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
Ahead of the final round of the 2022 African Women's Cup Of Nations qualifiers, team head coach, Randy Waldrum, has selected an equal blend of home-based and oversea-based professionals for the camping taking place between November 22 and 30.
Leicester City player who qualified to represent Nigeria through her paternal grandfather was among the players invited.
She departed England on Sunday evening en route to Nigeria for the compulsory training camp.
She made an unofficial debut on July 2021, starting in a 1–0 friendly win over Slovenian 1. SŽNL club Olimpija Ljubljana.
Nigeria defeated Black Queens of Ghana in the earlier round of the qualifier and will now face another opposition in Coted'Ivoire in the next round.
