Leke James Sent Off After Scoring In Molde Win

By Editor

Nigeria international Leke James was sent off in his team, 4-1 win over over Aalesund.

Molde coach Erling Moe has insisted Leke James ought not to be sent off in his team’s opening day win at Aalesund.

The Norwegian champions were reduced to 10 men when scorer Leke James was sent off for a second booking.

However, they held on to win 4-1 at newly promoted Aalesund.

“I don’t think it should have been a red card,” argued the Molde coach.

Leke James, who netted 15 goals in the league last season, will therefore miss Saturday’s high-profile clash against main rivals Rosenborg.

Ohi Omoijuanfo, who has Nigerian roots, may also not be available as he is nursing injury.
