  Leon Balogun's Rangers Face Aberdeen On SPFL Trophy Day By Editor The final Old Firm game of the season will be played at Ibrox in the middle of the Premiership post-split fixtures announced by the SPFL. Steven Gerrard’s champions-elect will host their city rivals on May 2 – the third game of the final tranche of fixtures for season 2020-21, before crowning their title a fortnight later. Aberdeen will be the visitors to Ibrox for the final day of the season which will see Rangers captain James Tavernier handed the league trophy for the first time and the silverware return to the Ibrox trophy room after a nin e year stay across the city at Parkhead. Having completed the original set of fixtures with Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Celtic, Rangers return to league action by hosting Hibs at Ibrox on April 11, followed by a trip to St.Johnstone ten days later. The Old Firm game is next, followed by the third trip to Livingston of the season on May 12 before presentation day on the final fixture date in the calendar on May 15 when Aberdeen visit Glasgow. Across Glasgow, Celtic have also learned their schedule for the remainder of the Premiership campaign. Livingston return to Celtic Park on April 10 before a midweek trip[ to Aberdeen for John Kennedy’s side on April 21. The final two games after the fourth derby of the season will comprise of a home match with St Johnstone on May 12 and then a trip to Easter Road to finish the season at Hibs on Saturday May 15 with a lunchtime kick-off.
