Leone Stars Forward Kamara Ready For Eagles, Set For U-Turn On Future

Leone
Minnesota United striker Kei Kamara has not ruled out a Sierra Leone return ahead of Nigeria doubleheader, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Kamara, 36, scored a brilliant goal against Liberia during the second leg time of the 2022 World Cup qualifier in Freetown last September. According to  footballsierraleone.net the Major League soccer veteran announced an unexpected retirement on the eve of the African Cup of Nations closed doors 1-1 opener against Lesotho in November 2019. At the time the fifth all-time MLS top scorer says several factors have influenced his decision, despite family and colleagues tried talking him out of his decision. But, according to close friends, Kamara is ready to make a U-turn and give his best to the Leone Stars. The Leone Stars will travel to Nigeria next month to honour matchday three of the African Cup of Nations qualifier before hosting the three-time African Champions in Freetown.
