Liberia FA Gives $4,200 To Each Club As Palliative For Covid-19

Liberia Football Association (LFA) have approved an amount of US$4,200 to be given to each club in the men's first and second divisions and the women's top division of the 2019/2020 season amid coronavirus crises.

The executive committee of the LFA reached a decision on Wednesday afternoon to pay each club as subvention in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

The widespread of the deadly disease has seen almost all sporting activities halted in the World until further notice as the fight against the global pandemic continues unabated.

With all football competitions suspended in Liberia, clubs are bent on facing financial difficulties along the way.

This urged the LFA to approve the grant to aid the sustainance of the clubs until when football competitions resume in the West African country.

Also, the football governing body on Monday joined the fight against Covid-19 by donating medical and personal hygiene materials to government for distribution.
