Libya Arrive Uyo On Friday, Refs Breeze In On Thursday

The Libyan Football Association has confirmed that the Mediterranean Knights will fly to Akwa Ibom on Friday ahead of Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles slated for the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng authoritatively reports. Mediterranean Knights will have their fist and only official training session in Uyo the evening of same day they arrive. However, match officials from Democratic Republic of Congo will jets in to Lagos on Thursday, after which they will take the next available domestic flight out to Uyo two days before the AFCON 2019 first leg qualifier between the Super Eagles and the Libyans. Referee Jean Jacques Ndala Ngambo will be the man in the middle and will be assisted by DR Congo compatriots, Olivier Safari Kabene and Nabina Blaise Sebutu.
