Libya Club Captures Akwa United Forward By Sampson Adedeji Libya Premier League club, Al Ahli Benghazi has announced the capture of Nigeria Professional Football League Club Akwa United attacker Ndifreke Effiong in a three and half year deal, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The club who campaigned in the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup continued to strengthen their team ahead of second round of the season. Their first acquisition was Malian international, Sadio Kanouti who joined them few days back. The club via its social media handle on Thursday announced the signing of Effiong on a 3 and half year deal. "Together we welcome our second deal in the Mercato, Nigeria top striker Ndifreke Effiong, will strengthen our team for 3 and half year deal starting from the second leg," the club confirmed. Effiong is presently the top scorer in the 2020/2021 NPFL season with 8 goals.
