Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was the hero on Saturday night as LOSC Lille returned to winning ways.

The Principality club has suffered the defeat in the last three matches which push the team further down the table.

Adrien Thomasson had given Strasbourg the lead in the 12th minute before Gabriel Magalhaes equalised for Lille on 65 minutes.

With 10 minute to end the game Lille was awarded a penalty and it was Osimhen who buried the ball into the net and ensured Lille secured the maximum points with a 2-1 win.

The second he scored increases his goal tally in the league to 11 in 21 appearances.
