  Ligue One: Samuel Kalu Returns To Action By Sampson Adedeji After spending few months on the sideline due to injury, Nigeria's Super Eagles winger, Samuel Kalu finally returned to action in the French Ligue One, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Girondin Bordeaux winger has been battling injury since late 2020 which halted his participation earlier in the league. The injury also hampered his international participation for Nigeria as he was unable to take part in the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone. He was introduced into the match involving Bordeaux and Metz in the 75th minute for Hwang Ui-jo. The game ended goalless but he was able to distinguished himself in the few minute he played in the encounter.
