Lille boss expect more from Osimhen

Despite his amazing performance for French Ligue one side LOSC Lille, the club coach Christophe Galtier still believes Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen still has much to offer, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

BSN reports that Osimhen has netted 6 goals for Lille in 7 matches to be joint top scorer with Dembele and has also contributed immensely to the club progress.

Galtier made the statements on Friday during press conference as they ready to confront OGC Nice on Saturday.

"Victor was followed by Luis Campos (Chief Scout) for a long time, he has a large margin of progress, but he still has much to offer at his young age. Our performance level remains alert to the level of fatigue of each player . At the moment, everything is fine.

"Victor has the ability to turn average balls into goals, he creates a lot of chances and has very high stats, we’ll see how it’s going to be, there’s no big team season, if a player does not also make a big season,” Galtier said.

Osimhen will look to continue his impressive run when they face Nice on Saturday.
