Following his heroic start to life in the French Ligue one, LOSC Lille coach Christophe Galtier has confirmed his reliance on Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen.

The former Golden Eaglets star has been a revelation since switching to the Principality club scoring 7 goals in less than 10 matches for Lille.

The team gaffer made the statement on Saturday during a press conference organised for the league against Nimes slated for Sunday.

"How do you not depend on Osimhen? You asked same question last year with Nico ( Pepe). All teams are depended on one or two players.

"But it's also my role to find another player capable of being decisive to find association with or without Victor Osimhen," Galtier said.

The lanky striker who is expected to lead Eagles line against Brazil next week opened his UEFA champions league goals account on Wednesday against English Premier league side Chelsea.
