It was a mixed feeling for Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Moses Simon on Tuesday as his goal counted for little in their 2-1 loss to Paris St Germain in the French Lique one encounter.

Former Gent of Belgium attacker was also on target last weekend in Nantes 2-3 loss to Rennes and was nominated for January Player of Month, BSN Reports.

The league defending Champion raced early to 2 goals lead through Mauro Icardi and Thilo Kehrer in the 29th and 57th minutes .

But the Nigeria international halved the deficit in the 68th minute and ensured that Nantes has a respectable 2-1 loss in the game.

Simon moved to Nantes on loan from the Spanish La Liga side UD Levante last summer with an option of a permanent move at the end of the season.
