Lique one: Simon up for Nantes player of the Month

Following his amazing performance for FC Nantes since switching to French Lique one on loan from Spanish La Liga side UD Levante, Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has nominated for Nantes player of the month for August.

BSN reports that Simon who joined Levante last summer from Belgium Jupiler league side KAA Gent, switched to Nantes this summer and has become an important player for the club after match day 4.

He was on Saturday nominated for player of the month for August alongside Abdoulaye Toure, Nicolas Pallois and Fabio.

The 25-year-old scored the winning goal on his debut against Amiens and also provided the assist for the team’s winning goal in his first full start against Montpellier last weekend.
