Bobby Adekanye will never make his Premier League debut for Liverpool but he looks set to star in Serie A for Lazio, BSNSports reports. Bobby Adekanye has turned down a new contract at Liverpool and is now set to leave at the end of the season. A talented winger born in Nigeria, the Netherlands U20 international is one of the most promising young players in Liverpool’s academy. He has scored three times in UEFA Youth League and Premier League 2 this season. But it seems unlikely now that Adekanye will ever follow Trent Alexander-Arnold and co into The Reds ’ first team. The 20-year-old is due to become a free agent in the summer and reports in Italy believe that he has rejected the chance to commit his future to Jurgen Klopp ’s side. As a result, it seems inevitable that Adekanye, who had spells with Ajax and Barcelona before moving to Merseyside in 2015, will leave in the summer. Director confirms intention to agree new loan for Liverpool talent Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare is reported to be a big fan of the youngster and believes that he can make a huge impact at the Stadio Olimpico. The report adds Lazio have been tracking Adekanye since November last year, they will be increasingly hopeful now of snapping him up.
