Liverpool may end Awoniyi sojourn to Mainz 05

Following non regular football action, English Premier league giant Liverpool FC may end the loan deal of Nigeria forward Taiwo Awoniyi.

The Nigeria under-23 international joined the Reds in 2015 but has since spent his time on loan with the club unable to secure a UK work permit

Awoniyi who has had a loan spell with Spells at FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen, Gent and Royal Mouscron has made just 6 appearances for Mainz 05.

Ligue 1 trio Montpellier, Brest and Nimes, alongside Turkish Super Lig Besiktas has already shown interest in the player.

Liverpool in their own part is set to meet the interested club but its yet to be seen if Awoniyi will agree a move out of Germany.
