Mohammed Sallah Retains African Best Player of The Year
Liverpool and Egypt striker, Mohammed Salah has won the African Best Player of the Year for 2018, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Salah was voted ahead of his Liverpool teammate, Sadio Mane as well Gabon and Arsenal forward Pierre Aubameyang.
Salah exceptional performance for Liverpool and Egypt in 2018 could be responsible to beat Mane who also had great performance in 2018.
However, Banyana Banyana forward Christiana Kgatlana won the African Women Best Player after edging out last year's winner, Azizat Oshoala and her national teammate, Franscica Ordega.
The South African striker also won the Goal of The Year Award.
Oshoala has won the award three times in a row, in 2015, 2016 and 2017 African Women of The Year Award but failed to win the awrd forth time in a row.
